We don't generally like dwell on the equipment side of what we do - that's just the "stuff". Ultimately, what you're buying is the experience, and that's what we focus on. How the equipment goes together to create the experience is our expertise, and where we set ourselves apart.
Briefly, these are our building blocks:
1. Home Automation
Imagine a single point of control for everything in your home: Lights, Audio, TVs, Thermostat, Pool, etc, etc.
Now imagine you could have all that power, but not need a Ph.D to use it.
That's the idea behind home automation. Simply put, the "automation system" ties everything in your house together and makes it all easy to use.
Our Home automation systems are secure too. We don't use systems that are PC-based - so you never need to worry about someone "hacking" into your home. Our systems are based on industrial-strength components. In fact, we chose our vendors based on the systems we used to use in the theme park industry - where 99% up-time and security were absolute requirements.
Every system we create is unique to the home owners' needs. The wonderful part of Home Automation is that the systems are 50% software - which means we simply program your system to do what YOU want it to do.
2. Lighting Controls and Motorized Shades
Plainly put, these controls replace the typical wall switches we're all familiar with.
What's the advantage? You can control any light from anywhere in your house. Every light can dim. Your lighting can automatically do certain things at certain times of day. Your lighting can tie into your security system, acting as a deterrent while you're away, or as an alert when you're home. You can have preset "scenes" such as "romantic dinner" or "movie-time" that aide in how you use your home.
Best of all, installing lighting controls can drastically decrease your electrical bills - into the thousands of dollars.

3. Energy Efficient Lighting
We offer (and recommend) LED based lighting solutions from Philips for our homes as well.
Today's LED lights provide the same warm color as traditional bulbs, but use fractions of the energy. They dim just like regular lightbulbs, but last up to 80,000 hours. (typical bulbs last a maximum of 5000 hours).
Combined with Lutron's lighting controls, these can make a huge impact on your monthly electrical bill.
4. Environmental Controls
"Smart" thermostats and other climate control devices add to the Home Automation system's ability to 1) control your comfort within your home and 2) manage the energy usage of your home.
Since these devices talk seamlessly with the Home Automation system, we can enable you to check your home's temperature from your office or remotely set your pool or spa from the airport. Additionally, the home can make minute adjustments to the energy usage based on occupancy or other factors, driving down your energy costs.
5. Whole House Audio
Come home, pop your iPod into the wall dock, and fill the whole house with your favorite music. Hidden speakers in your ceiling and walls fill the air with crisp, pure sound. |  |
